Renovation and Refurbishment

More information…

The house was stripped out from top to bottom including all the heating and electrics and the concrete hard standing in the rear garden.  Due to the age of the property there were a lot of roof and brickwork repairs, the brickwork work repairs were all over the building including internal and external walls and most of the rear right hand elevation wall.

Structural works were carried out to strengthen the sagging purlins and steel beams were installed beneath the purlins to prevent further sagging these were then boxed and decorated to match the room design.

Adaptations were made to install 3No new en-suites into the property with the existing main bathroom and ground floor shower room which were all newly designed.

New windows & doors were installed throughout the property and we also replaced the windows in the adjoining property that was also owned by the Lady of Mercy, this was more complex as the property was lived in and was fully decorated.  A lot of care was taken to carefully remove the windows and make good afterwards.

The property also required a full electrical installation as well as a design and installation of a new heating system with heat recovery ventilation, hot & cold & drainage supplies were installed to suit the new bathroom and en-suite layouts as well as for the new ground floor kitchen and utility room.

The property was then decorated and new flooring installed to all areas, fireplaces were installed to the two ground floor reception rooms whilst the 1st floor fireplaces were blocked up.

To complete this project the rear and front gardens were given a full landscape with a yorkstone patio area to the rear and metal bow fencing to the front garden giving it a full renovation.
